    Design My Night Says…

In-keeping with the theme of the Battle of Waterloo, with sister bar Tonight Josephine located just below in the basement, Bar Elba focuses on the plights of the infamous Napoleon, who was exiled to the Mediterranean island of Elba. He took 600 of his closest pals and his fave horse, Marengo, with him, staying for a grand total of 300 days. Party. Island. The 350 capacity rooftop has views over London and follows a tropical theme with sunny colours and block lettering details. There is a summer cocktail menu of 20 cocktails including favourites such as the Aperol Spritz, Violet Femme and Love Potion No.10, as well as this year’s newest trend Frosé (frozen Rosé). The spot will also run a happy hour from 5pm-7pm every day.

    Time Out Says…

Welcome to party island. You’ll have to battle past crowds of frazzled commuters at Waterloo station and climb up a series of brightly coloured staircases to get there. But it’s worth it to reach this buzzy rooftop oasis with swoonsome views of the city’s skyline. It takes its inspiration from the tiny island of Elba, just off the Tuscan coast, where Napoleon Bonaparte was forcibly sent in 1814. He took his horse and a few hundred of his closest pals. Political exile? Apparently he just partied in the Med for 300 days.
