Housed in a converted Victorian pub in the shadows of the Trellick Tower, this second venue from the duo behind hot-ticket 108 Garage brings some much-needed glamour to Golborne Road – no wonder well-heeled locals are already packing the place for its take on Japanese/Peruvian fusion food. The proprietors have certainly done a good job in creating a cool destination, sparing no expense on decor (note the downstairs ceiling) and providing a buzzing soundtrack to keep the vibe upbeat.

Southam Street is a multi-dimensional eating space in Notting Hill. The restaurant and bar is the second venue by the team behind the acclaimed 108 Garage, this time taking over a three-storey Victorian pub. Each floor offers something different, with the ground floor focusing mainly on grilling and smoking fish, meat and vegetables on the robata grill. Meanwhile, upstairs is the Raw Bar, where the menu is Nikkei, a Japanese and Peruvian fusion menu. As for drinks, there’s a separate room dedicated to serving Japanese drink sake, whereas on the second floor there’s a tequila and mezcal, where guests can opt in for a private membership.
