Bar Termini does two things: coffee and cocktails. Coffee is overseen by Marco Arrigo, head of quality for Illy, who has probably trained more baristas – and trained them rigorously – than anyone else in the UK. Cocktails are supervised by Tony Conigliaro, the alco-alchemist behind 69 Colebrooke Row and Zetter Town House, among others. Teams don’t get much dreamier than this.Read more…

The aim of this joint, named after Rome's principal train station, is to offer Soho workers and visitors an authentic Italian pit stop from early morning until late at night. I popped in for a quick pre-dinner sharpener and quickly made my way through the entire negroni list: Rosato (rose-petal infused), Superiore (pink peppercorn-infused) and Classico. Here the negronis are pre-made, aged and served in miniature custom-made glasses without ice so the flavour stays consistently perfect.Read more…
