Step into this bright, airy and grand space and you’ll find it hard to believe that next door is bustling Victoria Station. Plush blue booths and armchairs fill the room, surrounded by overhanging dome lamps and quirky busts with flowers for hair. Head for a stool at the oval bar and pick something delicious from the menu – the focus here is on pickling and fermenting, so homemade sodas, shrubs, kombucha take centre stage, thoughtfully crafted into their stunning cocktails. Feeling peckish? Not to worry, the bar menu of snacks, mini-potted meals and of course pickles are on hand or there’s the restaurant for something more substantial. Then when you’re all done, you’re only ever a few steps from a train… lovely.
