    Such is the strength of the food that its easy to forget that there's a great choice of drinks here too. There's a thorough wine list, and plenty of classic cocktails to try as well. We recommend the Mexican Mauresque, a blend of tequila, pernod, apple juice, lemon and almond syrup, but there's plenty of choice if that doesn't sound like your cup of tea.

    The a la carte menu features dishes ranging from caesar salads and charcuterie boards to risottos, burgers, fish and chips and steamed sea bass served with a shellfish emulsion, olives, lemon and spring onions. Drinks range from smoothies, fresh juices and mocktails to coffee, tea blends and Bloody Marys served from a DIY Bloody Mary station, where diners are invited to create their own concoction.

There’s also decent selection of booze – particularly if your taste is for classy Cognac or Calvados.
