Downstairs in the Tiki bar, Two Floors does a great job with the drinks, with a focus on classic cocktails. Priced at just £7 each with no faffy inventive signature mixes, it’s a refreshing sight to be met with such a simple menu...It’s just a shame that in the pub upstairs, where the bar is huge, the only two draught options are Red Stripe and Camden Hells. This is bolstered with some great bottles, including Brooklyn Beer, but Two Floors misses a trick with its pumps.
With separate entrances at either end and a few outdoor tables in Kingly Court, Two Floors feels more spacious than it is. The short row of taps – two Red Stripe, two Camden Hells – gives the minimum of choice in draught selection, but Estrella, Brooklyn, Modelo Especial and Goose Island come by the bottle. There are four wines of each colour, with democratic pricing and crowd-pleasing selections: a South African chenin blanc, Chilean cab sauv.
This West End split level hot spot attracts an eclectic and vibrant mix of drinkers and party revellers looking something a little different from the usual Soho bar scene...head downstairs and the change comes as quite a surprise as you're transported to a Tiki kitsch wonderland that offers a tropical party atmosphere with delicious rum based cocktails and live DJs.
