This fifth branch of wine bar and restaurant Vinoteca is the group’s biggest yet by quite some way and it has a wine list to match – there are more than 285 varieties available to enjoy alongside the Mediterranean-influenced dishes, including several options on tap. The centrepiece of the space is vast in itself: a 20ft zinc bar.

Start with crispy spiced Cornish squid, paired with a cava to cut through the creamy aioli before settling in to glorious steak bavette with a stack of enormous golden brown chips – crispy, salty and fluffy in the middle.
