The Royal Opera Arcade is one of those elegant covered shopping spaces designed to keep Georgians dry. The Georgians may be long gone, but the Arcade is still here - and, since mid-2015, it boasts one of the must-have accessories of the current era, a craft-beer bar. The London Beer House - as its unimaginatively/astutely known, depending on your perspective - is a small space on the northern corner, offering eight or nine beers on draught to drink in ⅔ or pint measures. There’s also beer to take away; expect Fourpure, Redchurch, Siren, Kernel and others to be available to drink on and off the premises.
