The juicy-fleshed fried chicken is notably good, as is the 30-day aged flat iron steak which comes with two fried eggs and a homemade smoky tomato ketchup. For £15 you can accompany your brunch with bottomless Prosecco — and on our visit the staff were admirably swift at keeping everyone topped up. Alternatives include cocktails such as the Dirty Mary made with pickle juice, chilli sauce and a sour cream Pringle rim.

Dirty Bones Carnaby has – for central London – a late licence (serving a full food menu until 11pm); they’re doing alfresco brunches on their third floor veranda; and they have, for a limited time, their very own version of Monopoly in which you can win cocktails, free desserts and “other things”. But they’re also doing some things the same… like their crispy fried buttermilk chicken on waffles with hot maple syrup; their charred padrón peppers in citrus glaze; their pulled beef and mac & cheese burgers; their four different types of hot dogs; and their 18 signature cocktails served up to a soundtrack of classic funk, hip hop and soul music. Happy hangover.

    Design My Night Says…

The new eatery is based in the heart of Kingly Court, a recently refurbished part of Soho. Surrounded by boutique stores and artisan pop-ups, the burger connoisseurs hope to add a distinctive American flavour to this part of town. High quality street food is the name of the game here. The food menu is this joint's defining feature. Having won over hundreds of fans at their Kensington branch, it's definitely worth its salt. From delicious beef burger bursting full of flavoursome Mac 'n' Cheese, to perfectly cooked fried chicken wings that fall succulently off the bone, you'll leave this spot with a belly full of delight and couple extra grams of Crisco flowing through your blood.
