Design My Night Says...
Coffee connoisseurs who dabble more than proficiently in cocktails are expanding to a London Bridge site. This means coffee highs and cocktail buzzes are even easier to achieve in a handy and picturesque setting...Emphasising the evening side of things a tad more in this site, sharing platters and an extended wine list will accompany the brunches and coffees. Mondays mean espresso Martinis, so we'll have a lot to thank these clever bunch for!
The Grind empire already encompasses cafés in Shoreditch, Soho and Holborn, but this is its first restaurant...the hearty Italian cheeseboard (including strong, silky Ciabra) was unmissable. A succinct wine list covers Australasia and Italy; espresso-leaning cocktails and a variety of gins make appealing alternatives.
Number 2 London Bridge now houses London Grind; espresso bar by day, cocktail den by night. Unlike the other Grinds, London Grind serves more substantial food too with everything from baked eggs and avo on toast for breakfast and weekend brunch to braised lamb shank and scallops for dinner.
