The Paternoster Public House, and outside areas is a warm inviting place for friends and family to meet and enjoy great traditional British food and drinks, including a great selection of traditional real ales. Situated in the heart of the city, conveniently located next to the London Stock Exchange.
Stick to the simple grills or fish dishes and you won’t be disappointed: Dover sole, brill and “sublime” sea bass might feature on a list of catches from British day boats, while the excellent steaks and chops are butchered on site...there’s a fair smattering of English sparkling wines and British ales on the eclectic drinks list.
Traders pack in at lunchtime or after close-of-markets for steaks, chops, mixed grills and other manly main courses – although the atmosphere is casual. You don’t have to work in the Square Mile to feel welcome, and plenty of families of tourists stop in post-St Paul’s sightseeing. It’s a modern, open and clean-lined space, with big windows looking on to the cathedral...The typically D&D polished and warm service operates throughout.
