Despite the size of the main restaurant, the upstairs bar is smaller, a bit darker and more romantic, with a few rows of low tables and cushy seats...Although it’s not making any great waves in terms of culinary ingenuity, Quaglinos is a tried and true classic that all restaurant fans in the capital should experience – and with that £19.50 set menu, everyone can afford to.
It’s extremely traditional eating, doubtless observing modern trends such as grains, greens and superfoods, then choosing to eschew them...This place knows exactly what it’s doing. It’s a bit too sleek and safe to bust its way into my innermost affections, but you won’t find anywhere with more polish.
Spread out over two bars and one restaurant, enjoy the best quality drinks and fine dining in serious comfort...The drinks list is extensive, including an array of innovative and classic cocktails all for £12.50. Did we mention, they also have a late license and are open until 1am Monday - Thursday and 3am on Fridays and Saturdays, with live music on the grand stage from 9pm and a DJ there until late.
