Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, London, E1 6QL
from 26/02/2016 to 27/02/2016
This year see’s our largest and most diverse mix so far. From established UK breweries such as Beavertown, Thornbridge, and Harviestoun, to international talent from Little Bichos, Lagunitas, Mikkheller, & Bronx Brewery to independent family brewer’s Elgoods and Adnams via relative newcomers including Bad Seed and Mondo, CBR is now recognised as the launch pad event in the UK’s beer calendar for new and exciting brews.
It is the place for beer fans to discover the brewing worlds latest product launches, new recipes and innovations and the rare chance to meet the faces behind the brands.
Brand new for 2016 is a dedicated cider zone called ‘Lost In Cyder Space’, which will be appropriately partnered with Sheppy’s cider, who are choosing CBR to kick off their bi-centennial celebrations as well as a new cider launch simultaneously. The room has been included to reflect the growing cider market, which looks set to follow a similar pattern to the craft movement. In keeping with bringing the best music to CBR London, we are proud to announce that James Lavelle (responsible for the genre defining Mo Wax record label and UNKLE project) and Rob da Bank (THE man behind 'Bestival' and Sunday Best Records) will be our Friday and Saturday night headliners respectively.
It’s a strength in depth line up though, that also includes Coldcut’s Jon Moore, Portishead sample digger Andy Smith and Boca 45 bringing their 45 Live show to London for the first time. The DJ’s DJ Ross Allen, BBC6 Music’s Don Letts, music journo Pete Paphides and acoustic guitar talent of the Showhawk Duo also feature, with the ‘Lost In Cyder Space’ zone being curated by The Vintage Mobile Disco AKA Donna Somerset. Put simply, great music to drink great beer and cider by.
