About

On 31st December Martin Morales and his Ceviche Old Street team are to host a New Year’s Eve Fiesta filled with cutting edge music, a stunning Peruvian feast plus a hefty dose of vibrant colour and flair. From 6pm, guests will enjoy a one-off menu curated by the Executive Chef Vitelio Reyes for the occasion showcasing Peruvian cuisine at it’s finest. Then, as the clock ticks closer to midnight, tables will be cleared and the festivities will begin, soundtracked by DJs playing Funk, Northern Soul and Latin Disco.

Diners will start the evening with an Anticuchito de Higado; Anticucho seasoned liver parfait alongside a Lentil Dip and Sweet Potato Crisps, whilst classic Ceviche dishes such as the Don Ceviche and Salmon Escabeche will headline the specially curated menu. Of course, no celebration would be complete without Peru’s national favourite, the Pisco Sour and Ceviche Old St’s bartenders will be on hand all evening mixing the best Peruvian cocktails London has to offer.

Leading the musical line up will be Levanna Mclean alongside Delilah Olson and Martin himself, reprising the musical role. A DJ for almost 20 years, he stopped DJing to become a chef having played alongside having worked alongside Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, Joey Negro and Francois Kevorkian among others in cities such as Rio, Moscow, New York, Marrakesh, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mexico City.

Joining Martin will be Levanna Mclean, who first came to the attention of music lovers through her viral presence on YouTube Northern Soul videos and whose eclectic musical taste has led her to creating hit compilations for Universal Music. She continues to embrace the best rare Northern Soul and Funk through club appearances and radio shows such as Craig Charles’ Funk & Soul show on BBC6 Music

Also on the line up is Delilah Olsen, bringing their kaleidoscopic sound woven from a myriad of musical genres. Combining flavours of psychedelia, disco-beat and latin chichi, the duo craft a sound that is rooted in world music yet gleams with contemporary freshness. Alternative Shoreditch based duo dress alike, make their own clothes and epitomize the DIY ethos of a new cult movement.

Tickets for the New Year’s Eve menu and entry to the party can be snapped up for £55 pp, with last food orders taken at 9:30pm. Whilst tickets just for the party celebrations are available for £15, entry from 11pm only.
