About

This summer, Londoners will see the ultimate urban beach open in the heart of Brixton, the gateway to South London’s booming food scene. Inspired by the vibrant culture of Cuba, Brixton Beach will transport guests to a lush and colourful paradise, serving up a winning combination of cocktails, street food and entertainment, creating the ultimate festival that lasts all summer long.

Visitors will journey to a magnificent tropical fiesta on the beach and prepare to turn up the heat in Cuba. The team have curated a series of individual events and experiences, involving immersive day and night parties, renowned DJ sets, summer film screenings, beach barbeques and daily exercise classes, whether you’re looking to get fit or fiesta the summer evenings away, the beach has something for all.

Guests will be greeted with the sights and scents of Hemingway’s adopted country of Cuba, with fresh mint hanging down from the bar’s roof in tendrils alongside swathes of exotic hanging foliage, perfect for drinkers to pick and garnish their own cocktails with. The Cuban-inspired cocktail menu will include Caribbean classics such as Rum Daiquiris, Piña Coladas, Cubanitos and Mojitos. The rooftop bars will also feature Cuban cocktail libations from Bacardi, as well as a dedicated bar from iconic Jamaican lager Red Stripe. Guests will also be invited to join Chandon, the Argentinian sparkling wine from Moët Hennessy at their exclusive beach side lounge bar to witness the sunset whilst enjoying the perfect Chandon sundowner and bespoke cocktails. Sun-kissed sand, colourful murals and pastel beach huts inspired by Havana’s old world splendour will dot the rooftop. Guests can salsa the evenings away in The Clubhouse, a covered area inspired by famous nightclubs such as La Floridita and La Bodeguita del Medio, with an ever-evolving series of live music, dancers and cabaret performances.

A wide range of group booking packages are also available, where guests will be able to book any of the three open fronted Cuban Huts, offering private seating, while still being at the heart of the party. Brixton Rooftop is also available for larger bookings, occupying separate sections of the roof, as well as complete venue hire.
