Unleash your inner sommelier this London Wine Week with a WSET education in food and wine pairing.

Hosted in the private dining suite of the vibrant Covent Garden Hotel, WSET Educator Michelle Cherutti-Kowal MW will guide you through WSET's principals of pairing wine with food.

Over a meal of beautifully crafted Thai cuisine, learn how the major flavours in your food affect your enjoyment of wine and break down the skill of deciphering a wine list.

MENU

Canapes – Vale do Homem Rosé, Quintas do Homem, Portugal 2015 (arrival wine)

-Sesame and coriander prawn tempura, chilli jam

-Wild rice cake, grated watermelon and feta riata

Starter – Verdejo, Paramos de Nicasia, Maquina & Tabla, Rueda, Spain 2015 and Urban Torrontes, Bodegas O Fournier Cafayate Salta, Argentina 2014 (2x wines)

-Five spiced seared tuna sashimi, mooli, lotus root and sesame salad, wasabi mayonnaise

Main – Beaujolais Franc, Domaine Rochette, Beaujolais, France 2015 and Talento Monastrell, Bodegas Ego Jumilla, Spain 2015 (2 x wines)

-Soy confit duck, noodles, plum sauce and cucumber

-Veggie Main (if required) Crispy katsu tofu, nasi goring, lime and coriander salsa, coconut curry sauce

Dessert – Saracco Moscato d’Asti, Piedmont, Italy 2014

-Coconut and chilli panna cotta

-Neal’s Yard Montgomery cheddar, apple and celery relish, wheat biscuits
