Famed for its live music nights, the boat will moor at East End canal-side bar Number 90 from 2nd – 25th July. Enjoy sounds of the summer from the best up and coming musical talent with with a Wood’s cocktail in-hand, choose from Jungle Bird, Wood’s Navy Chaplin or the house Bar 90 Grog.
There’ll also be the chance for budding mixologists to try their hand at mixing and muddling their own Wood’s cocktails at Number 90. Wood’s Brand Ambassador Calum Fraser will guide guests through the masterclasses, featuring the Wood’s Greenheart Grog. Themed on the traditional sailors’ ‘grog’ concoction invented for sailors in 1740 to mix their daily ‘tot’ of rum, this is a simple and refreshing cocktail. It is a blend of Wood’s Navy Rum, pink grapefruit juice, lime, honey and ginger beer, while the drink’s ‘greenheart’ pays tribute to the 250-year old Versailles still made from greenheart wood and used in the making of Wood’s Navy Rum.
