Another day, another tasting! Whilst Japan may be well known for its sake, shochu and whisky production, its tropical southern region, which has long been renowned for its sugar cane, means it is also home to some exceptional rum.
Join ROKA as they delve even further into Japanese drinking culture by welcoming Ryoma, one of the oldest producers of Japanese rum. Crafted from sugar cane grown on the island of Shikoku, the distillate is aged in oak barrels for seven years, creating a delicate, balanced and well-rounded rum.
Drop into SHOCHU on Tuesday and taste your own way around this unique rum. Joining the party and on hand to answer any questions that guests may have will be Ryoma Brand Ambassador, Jonny Fowle. The masterclass includes all tastings and a carefully crafted selection of bespoke cocktails will be made available throughout the evening at the special price of £6 for London Cocktail Week Festival Pass holders.
