In celebration of World Pasta Day (Thursday 25th October), MARTINI – the world’s leading vermouth brand – has teamed up with renowned Chef Stevie Parle to create a vermouth-based pasta dish and cocktail available exclusively at acclaimed Italian restaurant Palatino.
Inspired by the UK’s rising appetite for vermouth, MARTINI and Palatino’s delicious dish features spaghetti, nduja, steamed clams and chickpeas cooked in a tasty sauce based on MARTINI Riserva Speciale Ambrato premium vermouth. Bringing a luxurious twist to classic Spaghetti alla vongole, the vermouth adds an extra level of flavour intensity and aromatises the dish to perfection.
To complete the mouth-watering experience, MARTINI has also created a refreshing cocktail to pair with the meal – the Piedmontese Fizz. Made with the same vermouth that goes into the dish – MARTINI Riserva Speciale Ambrato vermouth – alongside Bombay Sapphire Gin, fresh lemon, gomme syrup and a dash of absinthe, it is the ideal way to enhance the authentic Italian dining experience and set off the flavours of the pasta.
