*SOLD OUT* - Join us for the first session dedicated to the classic short and sweet cocktail, the Old Fashioned. Stir your way to a pro bartender by the end of the night and enjoy tastings and delicious cocktail made by you along the way.

TT Liquor, 17B Kingsland Road, London, E2 8AA

The Cocktail Experiments are DrinkUp's very own masterclasses held in the heart of Shoreditch and designed to help you discover your own perfect version of your favourite cocktails. You'll hear some fun facts about the history of the Old Fashioned from it's creation in the States, then run through a spirits tasting before mixing up your very own personal version of this iconic classic to enjoy.

Your evening consists of a masterclass with our favourite boozy guru Hannah Lanfear, who will chat through the components that make up this classic aperitivo style drink, guiding the tasting and showing you the perfect way to prepare your cocktail, before you have a go at making one yourself.

During the session you'll taste three bourbons - exploring how the different barrels and mashbills affect the flavour, two rums for a Caribbean twist and two other whiskies to show the diverse nature of this simple drink. You'll then be shown how to mix your favourite combo to the perfect dilution and create YOUR perfect Old Fashioned. Plus you'll get to enjoy another Old Fashioned made for you by the TT Liquor team in their Cellar Bar for FREE.

At this experiment - you will taste:

Two bourbons...
Woodford Reserve
Michter's US*1 Sour Mash Whiskey

Two rums...
Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva
Santa Teresa 1796

Two other whiskies...
Starward Australian malt whisky
Copper Dog Scotch whisky

Tickets include the masterclass, all tastings, one cocktail made by you and one cocktail made by the TT Liquor team to be enjoyed in their Cellar Bar before or after the session.
