Volta do Mar is already known for whipping up Portuguese dishes inspired by Portugal’s global trading partners, but on the 28th February, it’ll be shining the spotlight on Portuguese wines, too. The restaurant’s first ever winemaker’s dinner will be hosted by Celso Pereira, founder of Vertice wines – sparkling wines grown in high-altitude regions that are Portugal’s answer to Champagne. To eat, expect dishes like Açorda Camarão and Iberico Pork Cheek with Xerem, and each of the six courses will be paired with a Portuguese wine: three Vertice sparkling wines and two reds and a white from Quanta Terra.
