In just over a week, RAW WINE fair will be back at the Old Truman Brewery for two days of natural, biodynamic and organic wines, craft beer and artisan food. Isabelle Legeron MW, founder of RAW WINE fair and natural wine advocate, will be bringing together over 180 artisan producers to give you the best from the natural wine world. The fair offers an amazing opportunity to expand both your knowledge of natural wine and your taste buds!
With the increasing trend for provenance and all things organic, interest in natural wine is ever-growing, with low-intervention organic and biodynamic wines being offered in restaurants and bars around the country. So, whether you’re an amateur or a connoisseur, RAW WINE fair is the perfect place to learn more about the hundreds of wines on offer and talk to the people behind them – the farmers, producers, distributors and sommeliers. Join us for London’s RAW WINE fair this May to experience wine at its purest, and discover a new world of wine that extends beyond just white, red and rosé. Consumers: In advance - £35 (1-day access); £55 (2-day access)
Ahead of and during the fair, the London EDITION will be hosting a RAW WINE pop-up bar where customers can try a range of amazing low intervention, natural, organic and bioydnamic wines. Over 200 will be available, many by the glass, as well as charcuterie and cheese from Berners Tavern. The pop-up bar will be open from the 4th - 16th May, from 6.30pm until late (excluding the 8th May).
Visitors will be able to bottle their own wine straight from the barrel - a first for any wine show. The barrel will be brought from the Loire by infamous biodynamic winemaker Olivier Cousin, who will be encouraging visitors to fill their own recycled bottles - taking sustainability to a new level!
The show brings together 200 producers from all over the world. With red, white, rosé, orange and sparkling wines there’ll be something for everyone as well as the opportunity to chat to the producers from as far afield as the USA, Mexico, Greece, Australia, Argentina and including homegrown UK talent.
To match the exquisite wines, there will also be plenty of quality food stalls with Nuno Mendes’ Taverna do Mercado, Hackney’s Raw Duck, Soho's Antidote and Forest Gate’s Corner Kitchen joining the show.
Visitors can also taste products from artisans producers such as Maldon Oysters, The Little Bread Pedlar’s handmade croissants and brownies, cheese from Provisions and Mons Cheese and Cocoa Runners' selection of bars from bean-to-bar
