LCW 2016: in Numbers

The facts and figures from the 2016 festival.

One month after the biggest-yet London Cocktail Week flooded our city with delicious booze and we're ready to relive the fun! 

IN NUMBERS

26,450 Festival Pass wearers across London, made up of 21,750 consumer Festival Passes sold (2015: 14,500) and 4,700 additional Festival Passes allocated (including free bartender passes, sponsor passes and press passes) (2015: 5500).

45,000 total footfall to The Cocktail Village at Old Spitalfields Market with capacity of 1500 at any one time.

10,300 total footfall to the LCW central Hub World Class House.

28% of guests visited both hubs during the week.

130 official LCW events plus 40 pop-ups within The Cocktail Village and an additional 15 pop-ups further afield.

52,765 £5 cocktails served across the capital in 267 participating bars, equating to more than £263,800 injected into the capital’s bar scene. The strongest areas were Soho – averaging 535 serves per bar, and Spitalfields – averaging 402.

More than 60,000 cocktails sold in The Cocktail Village. 

... yep, Londoners certainly know how to have a good time. And drink!

WHO CAME?

65% of you are female. Or at least that's who booked the tickets - so top marks for organisation girls. 

44.5% fall in the 26-35 age bracket, making up our highest attending group, the next highest being 36-45 making up 25%.

60% of our audience go out socially an average of 1-2 times per week. Just what the doctor ordered... but that doesn't include all those Negronis at home. Ops!

WHAT YOU THOUGHT

93% of attendees surveyed after the festival said they loved or liked London Cocktail Week. Thanks for saying so!

92% of attendees surveyed after the festival said they will return next year. Can't wait to see you guys again - but why not make it sooner? London Beer Week is our first event next year in March. 

60% of attendees surveyed have been to LCW before and 34% have been to London Beer Week or London Wine Week.
