What we’re excited about trying this London Wine Week

A whole week of delicious mini wine tastings in the comfort of our city’s very best bars - for just £5 a pop… yes, it really is the dream.

This year we’ll be welcoming back many of our favourite partner bars to the line-up – Vinoteca, Sager & Wilde, Vagabond, Bedales, Ten Cases and Passione Vino to name but a few, but we also have several new faces – Londrino, Salon Brixton, Sakagura, Oslo Hackney & Boxcar, plus many more – to welcome you through their doors. Whether it’s an old faithful or a brand-new opening, these bars are the best at what they do, and their amazing sommeliers will ensure this LWW is the most delicious week of your year.

Whilst many are still busy tasting, planning, and curating their wine flights, a few are quick off the mark and have theirs already in hand… here’s a taster of what’s in store to whet your appetite…

The Tapas Room – ‘Wine Week Wine War’
With various wine suppliers going head to head in a “Wine War”, each offering up a Spanish wine of their choice, they have to sell the most through whatever means available, be it bribery, flattery or who knows what… with a coveted place on the wine list up for grabs and a magnum for one lucky festival goer – this fight may get dirty…

Percy & Founders – ‘A Royal Match’
Celebrating the pending nuptials of everyone’s favourite royal rogue, Prince Harry, and his beautiful American princess, get in the spirit with a flight fit for the occasion featuring wines from Wales, London and the US of A!

Bedales – 'The "Pub" Quiz for Winos'
Three Wines, three rounds of questions for each ‘blind’ wine – - Old World OR New World? Oaked or Unoaked? Name That Grape! Wine, Food, Pop Culture, Weird Facts – it’s all fair game! Highest score during LWW will win a bottle of wine!

Martello Hall & Canova Hall – ‘Wines on Tap’
The newest trend taking the city by storm – tap wine is where it’s at. Choose any three from their 12 taps for a bespoke LWW flight.

Each available at just £5 all week with a flash of your £10 Festival Pass.
