Irish whiskey specialists, The Sun Tavern in Bethnal Green have just launched their Winter Cocktail Menu, focusing on classically styled drinks with a twist, which the East London bar have become renowned for.
Past menus have focused on the indigenous spirits from countries of the world, but this time The Sun Tavern team have created a flavoursome menu influenced by projects The Umbrella Project have been involved in over the past year; drawing inspiration from The Americas, Ireland and Holland.
The list pays homage to the likes of work-stay hotel Casa Pueblo Tulum in Mexico, wherein owners Andy Kerr, Stephen Thompson and Alistair Tatton have been consulting on the hotel bar from summer 2018; and in The Sun Tavern’s signature style, Irish Whiskey and Poitin haven’t been forgotten from the new menu, drawing from the bar’s Irish roots.
