World renowned maestro Salvatore Calabrese and the Donovan Bar at Brown's Hotel launch a new sixties-inspired cocktail menu...

London is renowned for being at its most vibrant during the Swinging Sixties – models made Carnaby Street their catwalk donning Mary Quant miniskirts, mods whizzed by on Vespas and rockers threw parties in their West London flats. The renowned Terence Donovan (the namesake of the bar at Mayfair’s Brown’s Hotel) captured this era on film and immortalised icons like Twiggy, David Bowie, and Sophia Loren. Now, London is set to swing once again with Salvatore Calabrese’s new sixties-inspired cocktail menu at The Donovan Bar, Our Generation.

The new cocktails evoke the 1960s and early 1970s’ unbidden sense of freedom and both the drinks and the interiors of The Donovan Bar pay homage to the most glamorous faces of its fashion, music and art scene, as photographed by Terence Donovan.

Our Generation encompasses drinks from the Portrait, Fashion, Music and Screen of the ‘60’s and ‘70’s.  Each theme includes five remarkable cocktail creations designed by world-famous Calabrese, each evoking iconic, Dolce Vita-like personalities.
