Coupette's new menu - 'Summer' - is the first offering from a new series of seasonal menus at this classy bar, many of which are inspired by local creative figures from Bethnal Green.
The menu is designed to evoke fresh fragrances, sun-filled spaces, languorous endless days and heady nights. Watermelon Gimlet is the epitome of summer refreshment, while Strawberries & Cream evokes the finest bowl of Wimbledon berries. Memory also plays an important role, like in the cocktail Shimmer – which conjures memories of gazing down upon iridescent blue of the ocean while on holiday.
Not limited to light concoctions, Summer also offers drinks that will take guests into the night. The thick atmosphere of a 1980s boardroom is perfectly captured in its namesake drink, Board Room, while Obsidian draws on themes of lava and stone.
