ETHNOBOTANICAL COCKTAILS TO TRY NOW

The Instagram famous bar - Waeska - located in the gorgeous Mandrake Hotel has launched a menu rooted in ethnobotany - the study of a region’s plants and their practical uses through traditional knowledge of local cultures. It's the first of its kind in London and here we take a sneak peek...

Waeska bar, found in The Mandrake hotel in Fitzrovia has launched a brand new cocktail menu consisting of fourteen new and intriguing creations.

The bar team have done extensive research into the medicinal properties and benefits of chosen ingredients and have created an inventive, unique and most importantly, delicious group of drinks for you to enjoy. ingredients have been sourced from worldwide destinations to ensure absolute authenticity, with flowers, roots and plants used to honour the ethnobotany concept.

SZECHUAN
undefinedAn edible flower native to Brazil with a unique “electrifying” property when chewed.
Patrón Silver tequila, Mezcal Union, yuzu agave, basil sorbet, szechuan.

ROSEMARY
A window box favourite, known to improve concentration & digestion.

DEVIL'S CLAW
A flowering plant from the sesame family.
