London Beer Week is a seven day festival celebrating the great and good of the city’s beer scene, including the bars and breweries which make up this vibrant landscape as well as the best ales, lagers and ciders available. Taking place in March each year the festival hosts a dedciated beer village, events, and brewery and tap room tours.
For 2017, we'll be focusing on different breweries in London throughout the week, so you can pick a night based either on location or breweries you're keen to try. These tours are super flexible, and relatively unguided, so you can go at your own pace and start and finish wherever suits you the most.
There'll be a few breweries and tap rooms to visit in a night and you'll be taken by our rickshaw fleet between each one, making for a fun, short journey. Discover London's amazing homegrown talent as you sip on brews and see the fantastic spaces that make our captial's beer. You might even get the chance to chat to a brew master or two along the way!
Every year we, together with our partners, host fun and engaging events. This could be masterclasses, brewery tours, parties, tastings or paired meals. Want to learn how beer is made? How to taste beer like an expert? How to pair beer with food? Which beers are best to drink at certain times of the year? Or just meet loads of fun Londoners and drink delicious beer with them? There’s an event for everyone, amateur to expert.
The Beer Edit
LBW is set to bring London a brand new hop-worshiping event in 2017 - The Beer Edit.
If you've been to LBW before then you'll remember the hub with its fantastic pop-ups, visiting breweries and immersive beer-experiences. The Beer Edit is a bit like that, but oh so much bigger and, dare we say, better. More beer, more breweries, more parties and, consquently, a whole lot more fun. This is going to be the beer highlight of 2017.
The Beer Edit will run across three days of LBW, Thursday 16th - Saturday 18th March. It's taking over the entire Oval Space in East London, creating an incredible beer village just off Hackney Road, which is a mere ten minutes walk from Bethnal Green tube station making it a super accesible journey to this beer-filled destination. Book a ticket for the session you want, rock up and make a beeline for your favourite brew, get merry with mates and even discover new beers to love. Tickets to this stand-alone event are selling here.
