Quality rules at Scarfes Bar, where fine furnishings are surprisingly comfortable and courteous staff buck hotel bar norms with friendly behaviour through and through. Although these comforts will make you feel well at home, a classic cocktail in hand, a jazz piano backing track and a position by the roaring fire remind you of your pure class setting.
...this bar is comfy, lively and dare we say it… kinda affordable. Cocktails cost around a tenner, there’s no fussy dress code or strict seating rules and the long bar seats 16 on oversized, heavy stools, great for casual drinks and first dates by the glow of bar-top lamps...Drinks-wise, head bartender Oscar has gathered together extensive selections of gin and whisky and the creative cocktail menu is filled with seasonal drinks and local booze.
