One of just two branches of this wonderfully fresh chain, the Villandry’s Grand Cafés offers a light flexible all day dining menu at reasonable prices as well as a range of home made takeaway items for lunch or dinner at home. The food is predominantly local and seasonal and the style of food is French Mediterranean, so you can enjoy great food with one of the best drinks money can buy at one of the best cocktail bars in London.
Villandry seems genuinely happy to accommodate your whims, whether that’s a simple quiche in the restaurant or takeaway chocolates from the compact grocery area. It seems they’ve thought of everything: come summer, there’s a juice bar and a counter serving frozen yoghurt and ice-cream
A well made Mojito and a more than passable Vodka Martini (both £8.80) show that cocktails are a good place in which to kick things off (or indeed finish) but the very accessible wine list also impresses, not least for the fact that prices are great...A flexible, accommodating and very summery space, Villandry is a lovely spot for good fooddone well. Recommended.
