2014 Chardonnay, Umbrele, Viila Timisului, Romania £19.50

You’re getting top class Chardonnay for under £20 a bottle, just by daring to experiment with  Romania. Great zippy lemony Chardonnay fruit flavours, combine with a nice clean stretch of acidity  to make this bloomin’ good quaffin’ wine but also a wonderful partner with a bit of Weiner Schnitzel.

Bingo.
